The Gaiety School of Acting - The National Theatre School of Ireland was founded in 1986 by internationally renowned Theatre Director Joe Dowling.
In response to the lack of full-time actor training in Ireland at the time. The school is now widely regarded as the country’s premier training facility for actors.

TV PRESENTATION
Do you find yourself watching TV presenters and thinking “I could do that”?! Well, now is your chance to find out. Over the course of a week, you will learn how to present a series of TV genres such as entertainment, news, sport, lifestyle and factual programmes. Led by Alan Shortt (TV and Radio Presenter, Producer; RTE, BBC Ulster), students will be taught how to relax on camera, use autocue and write an engaging script.

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP
Embark on a musical journey with you as the star through some of the world’s greatest musicals including Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, The Lion King, Grease and Hairspray. No previous experience is necessary. The course will culminate in an in-house performance on the final day for family and friends. Participants of Musical Theatre Camp can expect to:
1. Boost their confidence and creativity
2. Use learned techniques to communicate, not only vocally, but physically with an audience
3. Develop their own unique style of performing a musical theatre song
4. Present well known scenes and songs from current musicals
5. Keep fit
