Imaginosity, Dublin Children’s Museum is Ireland’s ONLY dedicated interactive Children’s Museum.  A child-centered, creative, educational space for children under the ae of 9, and their families.

Children’s museums are about the future, they are places of endless possibilities and promise, positioned at the very heart of the community.  Imaginosity is all about children, and learning, a family space where childrena dn adults learn all about themselves, each other and the world the live in through exploration, interation, free play and direct expression.

Imaginosity’s 3 floors, and 18 educational, interactive exhibits are designed to inspire life-long learning through play.  Each area within the museum is designed to cover milestones in a child’s development, from 6 months to 9 years.  Alongside the museums exhibits, Imaginosity hosts a variety of daily & seasonal interactive art & drama workshops, activities, performances and seasonal camps.

But Imaginosity is much more...

There are a myriad of rich interactive experiences to engage in; from meeting the Eco Badger up on the roof garden, and learning about how the unique 'green' building works, to making your way up the Climber past the Wizard's Lair and the Rocket Ship to Rapunzel's Castle.

Exhibits

Imaginosity have 18 educationally designed interactive exhibit spaces. Imaginosity hosts 3 floors of interactive, educationally designed exhibits to inspire and educate children up to the age of 9 years and their families. Each exhibit challenges, excites and encourages children to use their wonderful imaginations through open-ended, creative play.

Level 1 - Play Your Story
This level is designed around a small town centre built to child sized proportions, allowing children to take ownership of the space around them. The environment allows children to investigate familiar things in new ways, like a supermarket or a doctor’s surgery and assists in building confidence by participation in a world of imagination that is uniquely their own. Educational theories both formal and informal anchor the design in this area, where opportunities for cognitive and educational enrichment abound.  Look out for:-
