The farm is ideally located beside the picturesque North Wicklow coastline and less than an hour from Dublin City just off the N11.
The farm is both educational and fun and here you can get up close to a wide variety of farm animals and pets, enjoy the great outdoors, relax in the peace and tranquillity of our Nature walk, have fun in the large outdoor playground overlooking the farm, try our home cooking from the Coffee Shop or bring your own picnic.
SCHOOL TOURS
Glenroe Farm provides an educational and fun day out in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The trip to the farm includes:
- Farm tour lasting approximately 1 hour
- A guide will take your class around the farm telling them all about the animals and answering all their questions.
- In Pets' Corner each child will be able to hold and pet their favourite furry animals.
- Playtime in the large outdoor playground or in the undercover play area.
- Picnic – indoor or outdoor (depending on the weather)
- Allow 2 to 3 hours for your School Tour visit.
Prices:
- €6 € per child
- 1 teacher/supervisor free with every 5 children.
- Additional adults are €5 each.
- (Minimum of 15 children for a booking)

BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Glenroe Farm is the ideal venue for a unique and fun filled birthday party for your child. We offer a catered or self-catered birthday option and all parties last for 2 hours. You’ll need a minimum of 10 children for a party booking. We allow 1 adult free with every 5 children and additional adults are at a reduced admissions rate.
Catered Option €15 per Child
We provide:
- Guided farm tour lasting approximately 1 hour
- Playtime in the Playground (outdoor or undercover)
- Seating in the indoor Picnic area
- Party food and drinks –1. Chicken dippers/ cocktail sausages and Chips or Pizza / 2. Rice Krispie buns, Drinks
- Party bag containing popcorn, chocolate bar and small gift.
You provide: Birthday cake, candles and treats at your discretion
Self-Catered Option €6 per Child
We provide:
- Guided farm tour lasting approximately 1 hour
- Playtime in the outdoor or undercover Playground
- Seating in the Indoor Picnic area
You provide: All food and drinks, All you need for the party – plates, glasses, table cloths, napkins, etc., Birthday cake and candles
Party bag (if required) Party bags are available to purchase in the Gift Shop at a cost of €3 each.
SUMMER CAMPS
Do you have an animal lover at home? Would your child like to spend time up close to the animals on the farm and learn about the responsibility that comes with caring for an animal. We'll also explore the natural environment we live in, as well as some arts and crafts and time for play in the playground.
- Get to know all the animals and pets on the farm
- Find out what wild animals live on the farm too
- Explore the Secret Garden where the fairies live
- Learn about the trees and flowers on the Nature Trail
- Fun and games in the outdoor or undercover Playground
- Indoor area for arts and crafts

as well as all the familiar farm animals and pets, fabulous outdoor playground and undercover play area. If you need to take a break there is also the nature walk taking you to a Fairy Garden in the woodland.
Each child (aged 2 to 14 years old) will get a ticket to take part in an egg race on the farm. Over the weekends thousands of crème eggs will be found and there is a special prize in each race. The farm is open from 10 am to 5 pm this weekend with egg races taking place throughout the day and the last race at 4.30 p.m. each day. There will be a magic show twice daily at 12 noon and 2 p.m. in the indoor picnic area on the farm.
