WELCOME TO ARDMORE OPEN FARM

Ardmore Open Farm is a haven for children with endless hours of fun and activity for all ages. At the farm, you will get to meet all the farmyard favourites as well as many rare breeds of animals.

Hot meals, home baked goods, light refreshments and a large selection of wines are all available at the farm café. Picnics are also welcome with outdoor seating areas provided.

School tours, birthday parties, communion / confirmation parties and christenings are all catered for and tailored packages are available to suit all.

Ardmore Open Farm is home to a wide variety of animals.  Donkeys, horses, ponies, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, lemurs, meerkats, pigs and lots more are all part of the Ardmore Open Farm family.

For families of more than 2 adults and 4 children each additional child is €5 (max 6 children)

EVENTS

There will be various Special Events held throughout the year.  From spooky Halloween events to a wondrous wonderland at Christmas and lots more surprises too.  Ardmore Open Farm will be a haven of fun-filled activities

COMMUNION / CONFIRMATION SPECIAL

Fun-filled day out for all the family!  Specially designed 4 course menus, home cooked in our farm café.  Free entry for Communion / Confirmation child.  Unrestricted time at the farm.  Wine Licence available.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Ardmore Open Farm can cater for all types of parties and large groups.  It is a suitable venue whatever the weather as lots of animals and activities are indoors.  Options for parties include:

Menu A … Sweets plate / Ice cream / Squash / Party Bag / €13.50 each

Menu B … Sandwich / Bowl of fruit / Squash / Party Bag / €14.50 each

Menu C … Chicken Nuggets, Cocktail Sausages and Chips / Sweets plate / Ice Cream / Squash / Party Bag / €15.50 each

• Price includes two hours at the party table and unlimited time at the farm. Dedicated petting time for the party.
• Minimum of 8 children required for party packages above.
• Four adults are admitted free of charge for groups of 10 children or more – additional adults / parents at the reduced price of €6.00.
• Party of 11 children or more – birthday child is free.
• Option of face painting is available.

SCHOOL / GROUP TOURS

Ardmore Open Farm is safe and fun making it an ideal venue for school tours. We cater for large numbers of visitors with top of the range indoor and outdoor facilities. The tour begins by enjoying the indoor facilities, followed by food if desired or the children can eat their packed lunch.  The tour is then free to roam around the farm and enjoy our facilities and wide variety of rare breed animals. Play facilities include a zip-wire, soccer pitch, covered sand pit, indoor mechanical diggers (additional cost), indoor go karts (additional cost), three tier indoor soft play centre, bouncing horses, large outdoor play centre and much more. As part of the tour we can arrange for the children to be involved at feeding times and assist in feeding the lemurs, lambs, deer, pigs, rabbits etc.

A typical tour begins at 10 am and leaves at 2 pm but suitable times can be arranged if needed. The price per child is €8.50. One adult per 15 children is permitted free of charge with complimentary refreshments available.  Free admission and complimentary refreshments are also extended to the bus drivers.  Don’t be deterred by poor weather as our indoor play centre caters for over 100 children and many of the animals are housed indoors.
